We provide psychological assessment and consultation services to assist school staff and parents/carers in understanding and supporting the learning, social, and emotional development of children and young people.
The assessment and consultation process generally involves initial meetings with school staff and parents/carers, observation of the child or young person within the school environment, direct individual assessment with the child or young person, and a collaborative family-school action planning session. According to the nature of the referral and the specific needs of the child or young person and their context, we provide a range of assessments to support our understanding of the strengths and needs of the child or young person.
A detailed Educational and Child Psychology report, including assessment findings, consultation outcomes, and agreed actions, will be provided to both the school and the parents/carers. Fees are determined by the scope of the request and the time required, with costs typically ranging from £600 to £1,300.
